Auto Detailing Subscription Plans on Long Island: How They Work
Quick answer
Auto detailing subscription plans bundle recurring detailing service into a single monthly charge — typically 10% off equivalent one-time pricing, with card on file and priority booking. On Long Island, monthly plans range from $225 (bi-weekly Quick Detail) to $540 (weekly Quick Detail SUV) and cover everything from interior + exterior maintenance to monthly Full Details.

Subscription plans for auto detailing have moved from a niche idea to one of the most-requested service models we offer on Long Island. The driver is simple: high-mileage daily drivers in Manhasset and Garden City, beach SUVs in the Hamptons, and family vehicles in Patchogue and Babylon all benefit from consistent, scheduled detailing — and the subscription model removes the friction of booking and paying every two weeks.
Here’s how our three subscription plans work, who each one fits, and how the math compares to one-time service.
The three plan tiers
We offer three monthly plans, all at 10% off equivalent one-time pricing.
Weekly Quick Detail. Four Quick Details per month, scheduled the same day every week. $450/month for sedans, $540/month for SUVs and trucks. The most intensive plan — designed for daily-driver vehicles in heavy use, vehicles with kids or pets that need consistent interior attention, or owners who simply want their car to always look freshly detailed.
Bi-Weekly Quick Detail. Two Quick Details per month, scheduled every other week. $225/month for sedans, $270/month for SUVs and trucks. The most popular plan, and the one we recommend for most vehicle owners. The cadence is right for typical daily use — enough frequency to keep the interior reset and exterior protection consistent, without over-servicing.
Monthly Full Detail. One Full Detail per month, scheduled the same day each month. $270/month for sedans, $315/month for SUVs and trucks. The deepest service we offer, repeated monthly. Best for high-mileage daily drivers who want the comprehensive 4-6 hour reset on a recurring basis rather than spreading the work across more frequent shorter visits.
What you actually get on subscription
Three things that don’t show up in the price comparison but matter in practice.
Locked-in scheduling. Subscription clients pick a recurring slot — Wednesday at 9am, Saturday at 1pm, whatever works — and that slot is theirs. No calling to book each time. No competing with the rest of the schedule for availability. Recurring service appointments are written into the calendar months ahead.
Priority over one-time clients. When the schedule fills up — particularly during the May-September Hamptons season when demand peaks — subscription clients keep their slots. One-time clients sometimes wait two or three weeks for availability during peak season. Subscription clients don’t.
Pricing locked at sign-up. The 10% discount is calculated against pricing at the time you start the plan. If our one-time prices increase later, your plan rate stays at the original level. We typically adjust prices once a year; subscription clients are protected from that adjustment for as long as they remain on the plan.
How the math actually compares
Sedan owner, looking at one Quick Detail every two weeks:
- One-time: $125 × 2 visits/month = $250/month, scheduled as available
- Bi-Weekly Plan: $225/month, scheduled in a locked slot, 10% savings ($25/month, $300/year)
Over a full year, the subscription saves $300 and removes 24 booking phone calls. If you’d otherwise pay for the same service anyway, the subscription is strictly better.
Now look at someone who currently pays for one detail every two months:
- Current pattern: $125 × 6 visits/year = $750/year
- Bi-Weekly Plan: $225 × 12 = $2,700/year (much more service, but much higher cost)
For this person, the subscription doesn’t save money — it gets them more service than they were paying for. The question becomes whether they want the more frequent service. For some clients, yes; for others, sticking with one-time service every two months remains the right call.
Who each plan is right for
Weekly Quick Detail (4 visits/mo) fits:
- Daily-driver luxury vehicles parked outdoors near the coast
- Vehicles with kids or pets that need consistent interior attention
- Vehicles owners use for client meetings, real estate showings, or other situations where appearance matters daily
- Owners who want their car to always look freshly detailed
Bi-Weekly Quick Detail (2 visits/mo) fits:
- Most daily-driver vehicles
- Hamptons summer-home owners during peak season
- Family SUVs that see consistent use
- Owners who currently pay for a detail every 2-4 weeks anyway
Monthly Full Detail (1 visit/mo) fits:
- High-mileage daily drivers (30k+ miles/year)
- Vehicles that accumulate substantial interior wear monthly (delivery, ride-share, work trucks)
- Owners who prefer the deeper 4-6 hour reset over more frequent shorter visits
How the billing works
Plans are billed on the first of the month via card on file. We collect the card at sign-up, charge once per month going forward, and you receive an itemized receipt by email after each visit confirming the service was performed. There is no contract — you can cancel any time with two weeks’ notice before the next charge.
If you miss a scheduled visit (out of town, weather, scheduling conflict), we reschedule rather than skip — the plan price covers the visits regardless of when in the month they happen. If we ever can’t perform a scheduled visit (rare), we credit it to the next month.
Switching plans, pausing, and seasonal use
Three flexibility features worth knowing about.
Tier changes. You can switch between plans (Weekly to Bi-Weekly, Monthly to Bi-Weekly, etc.) at any time with two weeks’ notice. The price adjusts at the next monthly charge. Some clients run Weekly during summer and switch to Bi-Weekly in winter — that’s fine.
Seasonal pauses. For Hamptons summer-home owners and other seasonal-use clients, we accommodate full plan pauses with two weeks’ notice. Pause November through April, restart May 1. The discounted plan rate is preserved through the pause.
Add-on flexibility. Add-ons (engine bay clean, headlight restoration, spray ceramic sealant upgrade, smoke/odor treatment, convertible top cleaning) can be added to any subscription visit at standard add-on pricing. Most clients add the spray ceramic sealant upgrade once per quarter to maintain hydrophobic protection between visits.
