Boat Detailing on Long Island.

Mobile boat detailing across Long Island — center consoles, powerboats, day cruisers, and sportfish. We work marina-side at your slip, dockside in your backyard canal, or on the trailer in your driveway. Salt water, sun, and bottom scum strip gel coat fast; regular detailing keeps the hull bright and the interior clean through the season.

Who Boat Detailing is for.

  • Center consoles, powerboats, and day cruisers (typically 18'–45')
  • Pre-season commissioning and post-season decommissioning
  • Pre-sale boat preparation
  • Owners storing on a trailer or in a yard who want season-start fresh
  • Marina slip owners on Long Island's South Shore, North Shore, and Forks

When to skip it.

  • Bottom paint application — that's a yard service, not detailing
  • Engine mechanical work — book a marine mechanic
  • Heavy structural fiberglass repair — body-shop equivalent for boats
"Brought a 30' center console back from chalk-white to factory glossy. Booked again for next season before he'd even left the slip."

Boat Detailing — common questions

The questions we hear most often about this service.

How is boat detailing priced?

Custom quote — typically scales with length, gel coat condition, and scope (exterior only vs. exterior + interior vs. full restoration with ceramic). Send us photos and the LOA and we'll send a quote same day.

Where do you service boats?

Marina-side at your slip, dockside at a private home, or trailered in your driveway or storage yard. Anywhere on Long Island. We bring water and power, but a slip-side hose hookup is welcome when available.

When should I book?

Pre-season commissioning (April-May) and post-season decommissioning (October-November) are the two peak windows. Mid-season touch-up details after a heavy fishing trip or storm are also common. Book early — these slots fill 4-6 weeks ahead.

Can you remove fish blood and stains?

Yes — enzyme-based cleaners break down protein stains on gel coat, vinyl, and non-skid. Most blood, bait, and chum stains lift cleanly when treated within a few weeks. Older set-in stains may not fully remove; we set expectations before starting.

Do you wax or just wash?

Both — a wash-only service is the entry point, and most owners step up to a full detail with oxidation removal and a wax or ceramic sealant. The sealant is what holds the protection through the season; without it, gel coat fades fast in Long Island sun.
