Water Slide Restoration on Long Island.

Backyard water slides fade fast under Long Island sun and chlorine — the bright reds and blues turn chalky and gray within a few seasons, and the surface gets rough enough that it slows the ride. We restore the original color with oxidation removal, machine polish, and a UV-protective sealant. The slide comes out looking and feeling new. Residential and commercial slides both welcome.

Water Slide Restoration — common questions

The questions we hear most often about this service.

Can you really make a faded slide look new?

If the gel coat is intact (no cracks, no exposed fiberglass), yes — oxidation is a surface effect that polishes out. The underlying color is preserved; we're just removing the chalky top layer the sun has bleached. Slides that have been faded for 5+ years typically come back 80-95% of original.

How long does the restoration last?

With the UV sealant applied annually, the gloss and color hold for 2-4 years before another oxidation removal is needed. Without re-sealing, expect 12-18 months before chalking starts to return — Long Island sun and pool chemicals are aggressive.

Do you service commercial slides?

Yes. Pool deck slides at clubs, town pools, and waterparks are all good candidates. We can schedule overnight or off-hours service to avoid affecting operating hours.

How is it priced?
